The First National Bank of Talladega has begun a wonderful campaign this year in order to help raise money for our schools! They are collecting donations from their employees and customers with the promise of matching all contributions and presenting them to a different school each month. Fortunately, Lincoln Elementary School was chosen to be the first Ca$h for the Classroom honoree!
All money contributed to us will go towards new books in the library, which will benefit every child in our school. In order to assist in their fund-raising efforts (and raise even more money for our school) we will be holding a coin drive during the month as well. From now until September 10th, please send your spare change to L.E.S. and have your children drop it in the Ca$h for the Classroom container located in the library. You may also donate money at any of the First National Bank branches, including the one in Lincoln, or through Paypal on their website. You may use the link on the right of this blog to access their site.
Thank you in advance for helping our school purchase more books! Please thank the employees of First National Bank for their contributions as well. We are very excited about this opportunity to give back to our students.
